Jay Roland is an award-winning journalist and currently Group Director of the health division at Belvoir Media Group. One of his primary roles at Belvoir is Executive Editor of the monthly publication Cleveland Clinic Heart Advisor.
Prior to his work as a medical journalist, Roland spent nearly 20 years as a newspaper reporter and editor. His work covering education and family issues earned him honors and recognition from the Casey Journalism Center on Children and Families, the Florida School Boards Association, and the New York Times Co. Roland earned his bachelor of science degree in journalism from the University of Oregon. He lives in Florida with his wife and three children.
